Dr. Michael Sander to speak, answer questions at Knapp Medical Center

Weslaco – Dr. Michael Sander, Orthopedic Surgeon with UT Health RGV in Weslaco, will discuss arthritis and joint replacement surgery during a free health talk/luncheon for the community on Tuesday, January 28, from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the KMC Conference Center, a free-standing two-story building on the west side of Knapp Medical Center, 1408 E. 8th Street in Weslaco.

Dr. Sander, a Weslaco native, has treated orthopedic surgery and sports medicine patients in the Mid-Valley for more than 10 years. He is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Sander received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine, graduating with honors. He went on to complete a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Iowa Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation – as well as a fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.
