Gastroenterology
Gastroenterology – Knapp Medical Center is one of the few hospitals in the Rio Grande Valley that can perform almost all the GI services including:
- Upper Endoscopies
- Lower Endoscopies (Colonoscopies)
- ERCP
In addition, we offer infusion therapy and injections Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. We offer antibiotic therapy and Lovenox injection (one dose daily).

- Outpatient infusion (fasting less than four hours)

- Physician order required
- Schedule an appointment through Outpatient Resource Scheduling
- Register through Outpatient Registration

Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
