Laboratory
Knapp Medical Center Laboratory does 98 percent of all laboratories onsite, allowing for faster turnaround time for physicians and their patients. With its state-of-the-art PCR system, the Knapp Medical Center Lab provides fast and accurate laboratory testing that allows physicians to quickly begin the appropriate treatment for their patients.
Samples collected for testing come from a variety of bodily fluids, including blood, urine, serum, spinal fluid, synovial fluid, peritoneal fluid, sputum, and pleural fluid as well as stool.

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.
For after-hours labs, patients will need to register with the Emergency Department and then be directed to the main lab.
