The Clinic is now open in a new location in the Knapp Medical Arts Building, 1315 E. 6th St, Suite 6, Weslaco, TX 78596 (Office Number: 956-565-2727 / Fax: 956-351-5786). At The Clinic, patients can receive care for a wide variety of conditions, including management of diabetes management, high blood pressure, asthma, COPD, and many more.

The Clinic also places a strong emphasis on preventative medicine, learning to eat healthily, and pursuing a healthier lifestyle. At The Clinic, we are committed to working with you to improve your health.

The Clinic treats adults, geriatric patients, and adolescents, and is a service of the Knapp Medical Group. The Clinic is open Monday through Saturday.

Dr. Juan David. Asuaje, MD serves as Medical Director for The Clinic in Weslaco. Dr. Asuaje has practiced as a family medicine physician for several years, with a focus on preventative care and quality. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice and serves as the Medical Director at the Knapp Medical Group Clinic Family Practice, Weslaco. Additionally. he practices Family Medicine at Ramcorp Medical PA, McAllen. Not only that, he also practiced Emergency Medicine at Knapp Medical Center, Weslaco and Mission Hospital, Mission. He was a Member at Large, Medical Executive Committee, LifeCare Hospital, McAllen.

Dr. Asuaje received his medical degree from Central University of Venezuela, Jose Maria Vargas Medical School, Caracas,Venezuela. He did his Family Medicine Residency from LSU Medical Center, Baton Rouge, LA and General Surgery Residency, PGY 1-2 from LMT Hospital, Caracas-Venezuela.
