The Clinic is now open in a new location in the Knapp Medical Arts Building, 1315 E. 6th St, Suite 6, Weslaco, TX 78596 (Office Number: 956-565-2727 / Fax: 956-351-5786). At The Clinic, patients can receive care for a wide variety of conditions, including management of diabetes management, high blood pressure, asthma, COPD, and many more.

The Clinic also places a strong emphasis on preventative medicine, learning to eat healthily, and pursuing a healthier lifestyle. At The Clinic, we are committed to working with you to improve your health.

The Clinic treats adults, geriatric patients, and adolescents, and is a service of the Knapp Medical Group. The Clinic is open Monday through Friday.

Dr. Gerardo Munoz-Monaco, MD serves as Medical Director for The Clinic in Weslaco. Dr. Munoz has practiced as a family medicine physician for several years, with a focus on preventative care and quality. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and serves as Chief of Family Medicine at Knapp Medical Center.

In addition to The Clinic, Dr. Munoz serves as Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine with the UTRGV School of Medicine and as Program Director for the UTRGV / Knapp Family Practice Residency Program.

Dr. Munoz is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and the National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA), as well as a member of the NHMA Board Development Committee. He received his medical degree from the Universidad de Carabobo in Venezuela and completed his training at Indiana University.
