Rehabilitation Services
The Rehabilitation Services Department at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco provides a variety of treatments to help Mid-Valley residents and winter visitors who need physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Knapp Rehabilitation Services is accredited by the Joint Commission, the national accrediting organization for healthcare providers.
Services Offered
Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy
Patients who benefit from Knapp’s therapy services include those recovering from stroke, trauma, accidents, and surgeries, including orthopedic surgeries such as neck, shoulders, and back surgeries, as well as hip and knee replacements. Therapy at Knapp also benefits diabetes patients who have undergone an amputation of a foot, leg, etc., or patients with vertigo, balance disorders, cardiopulmonary, adult speech/language voice and swallowing disorders, and other conditions.
